City of Darwin would like your help in developing our inaugural Movement Strategy.
Our Movement Strategy will aim to make it easier for people to move around our suburbs and city by improving streetscapes, infrastructure and connectivity while reducing the impact of transport on the environment. The Strategy will lay the foundations for a connected and sustainable movement network that supports a safe, liveable and healthy city.
We are seeking your feedback on the way you move or wish to move within the City of Darwin, including the suburbs and city. Your input will help set the priorities and shape the actions within the Strategy.
A SWOT Analysis (prepared by infrastructure, environmental and social development company Cardno) provides an analysis of the current modes of transport in Darwin and identifies opportunities for us to best meet the changing demands of the future.
You can find this SWOT Analysis in the Document section on this page.
