A welcoming place...

My favourite memory of Jingili Water Gardens is of a cool Saturday morning spent doing Pilates in the park… I forgot my mat so the lady next to me went back to her car to get a blanket I could use; a child toddled over to join us for a stretch every now and then, her brown fluff ball on a lead, waiting for mum to finish so they could join the influx of dogs and their owners gathering for the Dog Day Out- it was one of those moments that makes you feel part of something special; a reflection of the vibrant and welcoming community that Darwin can be.
