The Darwin Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year and Community Event of the Year Awards recognise individuals and organisations that have made a noteworthy contribution to the Darwin community.
2020 has seen many challenges with community members showing amazing community spirit, such as locals helping with interstate bush fire responses and the community support offered through COVID-19.
Whether it’s a local organisation going over and above to improve the lives of others, role models, community leaders or the quiet achievers among us, City of Darwin takes pride in recognising those who make a real difference.
In their 40th year, the awards offer a great way to recognise the many people who make a real difference in the community.
This year we have opened nominations early and made the process nice and simple!
