Anula and Wulagi Traffic Calming
Consultation has concluded

City of Darwin is planning a number of traffic management improvements in Anula and Wulagi to help reduce speeding and improve road safety.
What is the problem?
There have been ongoing issues with vehicles speeding in this area, particularly in the school zones on Wulagi Crescent and Matthews Road.
What is the solution?
A number of road treatments have been designed to help address speeding and improve road safety for vehicles and pedestrians.

Intersection Upgrades
Three intersections will be modified with the construction of traffic islands and pedestrian refuges which will help to reduce vehicle speeds and improve road safety.

Kerbside Traffic Islands
Kerbside traffic islands will be added along Union Terrace and Wulagi Crescent and parking lanes will be marked. The kerbside traffic islands create visual narrowing to reduce speeding along the road.
