About Gardens for Wildlife
Gardens for Wildlife is a voluntary program for City of Darwin residents who are interested in creating habitat for local wildlife in their space. The program contributes to increasing wildlife corridors across Darwin and local understanding of our unique environment and wildlife.
Why should I join?
Gardens for Wildlife helps connect the Darwin community to our local environment by providing residents with the tools and resources to create wildlife-friendly gardens that support our urban forest.

Quarterly newsletters with gardening tips, news and upcoming local events
Invitations to free workshops, events and plant giveaways
Your participation will also help us to gather data on the wildlife that exists within our urban gardens.
Helpful advice
Gardens for Wildlife can not only help you with what to plant and where, but also connect you with other organisations if you have questions about wildlife such as snake removals, injured wildlife or swooping birds.
